Biography
Born on 27 May 1985; enrolled in the Turin Bar Association since 2015.Professional Experience
After graduating in intellectual property law, Federica Spina entered the profession as a civil law practitioner, before refocusing on intellectual property law, also attending an internationally recognised LL.M. in the field. After qualifying as a lawyer in 2014, she began working with Studio Sindico in 2016, becoming a partner of Studio Sindico and Associate in 2020. She deals with intellectual property law, civil law and contracts, also with reference to logistics services. Above all, she prefers to work with foreign countries, which is why most of her work is carried out in English or French. Since 2018, she has been involved, together with Domenico Sindico, in the strategic management of the brand portfolio of a major industrial group in Turin listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. She has experience in trademark oppositions before the EUIPO.Education
Federica Spina graduated in 2011 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Turin, with a dissertation on intellectual property law under the guidance of Prof. Marco Ricolfi. In 2008 she participated to the Erasmus programme at the Université Jean Moulin III in Lyon, France, obtaining the Diplôme d’Etudes Universitaires Françaises. In 2010, she attended a Summer School in International Copyright Law organised by the University of San Diego in Florence.
In 2016 she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from the WIPO Academy – University of Turin – ITCILO.
